TaiwanPlus

The Center is pleased to introduce TaiwanPlus, Taiwan's first video-focused, English-language public media platform. Established in 2021, managed by the Public Television Service Foundation, and publicly funded through Taiwan's Ministry of Culture, TaiwanPlus was created to bring Taiwanese voices and perspectives to audiences around the world, and roughly 95 percent of its traffic and viewership today are outside Taiwan. Its programming ranges from daily news on politics, defense, and the economy to documentaries on semiconductors, Taiwanese cuisine, music, the island’s botanical wonders, and everyday life.

In keeping with the Center's commitment to sharing Taiwan with audiences beyond the classroom, we invite students, faculty, and community members to explore TaiwanPlus as a way to stay connected with Taiwan between our events. Programs are free to watch at taiwanplus.com, on YouTube, and through the TaiwanPlus TV app.
